Formation of Socio-Civic Competence of Preschool Age Children in the Legal Period of Martial Arts
Synopsis
The legal regime of martial law affects all spheres of human life and child development in Ukraine, in particular - on education, which undergoes important changes and faces challenges caused by martial law. The need to form a modern citizen who possesses a range of knowledge and concepts, can act accordingly in the current social situation, has values that continuously connect him with his family and homeland, successfully communicates with peers and adults, is caused by the realities of modernity. There is a need to revise not only the theoretical and methodological concepts of socio-civic competence, but also to adapt the methodological tools to the conditions in which modern children - martial law - develop and grow. The article examines the essence and features of the formation of socio-civic competence of preschool children as one of the key competencies of modern preschool education in a special period of martial law. It is emphasized that socio-civic competence encompasses a system of knowledge, skills, abilities, values and attitudes that ensure the child's ability to interact with other people, navigate the social environment, adhere to moral and ethical norms, respect rights and obligations, show initiative, responsibility and most importantly - a civic position in accordance with age opportunities and the social situation. The regulatory and legal principles and pedagogical approaches to the development of this competence are analyzed, in particular, personally oriented, activity and competence approaches. Special attention is paid to the role of teachers, family and community in creating a socially significant educational environment. Examples of effective forms and methods of work in preschool educational institutions are given, which contribute to the formation of a sense of belonging to the family, community, nation, respect for cultural traditions and democratic values in children.
